I am a freelance designer who lives and works out of my home in Millis, MA. The first client I did work for as a freelancer, lives in St. Louis, MO; the second client lives in Natick, MA. I’m amazed and thrilled at how the internet (and email) has eliminated barriers and enabled little entities (like myself) to service people across the US and the world--I can work with people who live next door to me or across the sea.
My mentor shared with me when I started in the graphics industry: “Some people despise sitting in front of a computer all day--your going to hate this business if you’re one of these people.” Quite the contrary, I never imagined I would love “working” as much as I do. For me, every project is an adventure!
Brief background
Starting in April 2000 I worked for a small graphic design
firm, doing everything from bookkeeping to catalog production,
websites to email blasts, and more. I’ve been working
on my own as a freelancer since November 2004.
